My local Lowe’s cut them to size for me. It can get difficult to support while building it.
The pictures are meant to representative of what you can build using your own lumber.
It is well built and was the easiest way to get a custom workbench. No wood involved, so don’t let the full workbench pic fool you.
I’m just average at building skills. The product website has a bunch of pictures of benches built by other buyers. That was great info. You can’t go wrong with this kit. After about an hour it was together and man was it sturdy.
The flexibility of sizing according to my needs was great. It would not hold a 2 x 4; maybe a couple pieces of paper. I am about half way through with it and already can tell this is going to be a good deal.

You still have to buy the wood, cut it and then figure out how to put it together. The next night, after needing to go get some additional lumber for the shelf, I decided to drive the extra 2 minutes to a different Home Depot near me.
I really like that this bench is expandable to any size. The unit I built is 30″x8′ like the picture above from the gent from NH.
He could not believe all the additional hooks and braces and things came along with it.
I made the workbench 80″x24″ to fit the available space. I decided the depth and the width so it fit where I wanted it. I purchased this product partly because of the reviews.
It was much easier than I imagined.
If you would represent your product properly, if would not have been returned.
The package was delivered prior to the delivery date.
Other than that, the bench went together just fine and at a minimal cost. I have had so many compliments on it. Plus, take a look at the weight. I’d like a little verbiage in the instructions but that’s just a personal preference.
The added parts cost is easily offset by the time savings and little if any scrap lumber is left over desk hutch plans.
